Since I was little girl, I've always had a magpie approach to anything sparkly, colourful and glittery. I have eagle eye vision when it comes to anything like this, something that's hidden at the back of a shelf I will locate. A piece of clothing that's stuck at the back of a rail, one left that's my size? I will spot it and will of ninja moved my way up the aisle, bought and paid for it quicker than you can imagine. My beauty love affair has been more of a past time/hobby rather than doing it as an actual job, so I've decided to take a leap of faith and have a completely fresh start in my career. Now, don't get me wrong, boy was I nervous about making this decision! First and foremost, no regular monthly income to buy sparkly, colourful things, haha! Seriously though, this was a big factor BUT I am very lucky to have a supportive boyfriend, family and friends who gave me the confidence and courage to 'go for it' and do something about it. After all, we only get one shot! You want to enjoy your job, after all that's what you spend most of your life doing!

So, I've decided to follow my passions and train in Beauty Therapy, effectively setting up my own wee beauty business! It's an absolute dream job for me and I am so happy I can combine my love for all things beauty and share them with other people. Yes, thinking about and talking about Beauty, cosmetics etc might be a tad laborious for some people but I truly enjoy what I am doing, learning new skills, meeting new people! I for one am very excited about the future!
Have you ever made a fresh career start?
Sarah :)
